We would recommend Norton but if you’re careful and you know what you’re doing you can use free AV products but in my opinion paid antivirus software is inexpensive and you wont have to put up with continual pop ups.

Microsoft’s built in security has imporved over the years and is now more than able to cope with home users security requirements.

The key way to keep safe on the internet is to make sure you have an up to date Anti Virus installed. Anti Virus’s don’t just stop viruses attacking your computer while searching the internet but they can also stop spam, unwanted pop-ups and warn you of potential dangerous websites.
AVG Anti Virus offers good virus protection, the free version could be enough to keep the everyday user safe on the internet but if you would like that extra protection or you’ve been having problems contact us for assistance.

You can also try out various paid for AV products for 1 month free, try out Kaspersky, Norton or Bitdefender.
